THE EXAM
The ACT is one of the leading college entrance exams in the United States, taken by over two million students each year. Scores are accepted by every US university and by many leading universities worldwide.
Beyond a single score, the ACT gives a clear, section-by-section picture of a student's academic strengths, making it a useful guide for planning ahead.

How to register

Step 1
Create your account
Go to my.act.org and select "Create Non-US Account." Use your name exactly as it appears on your passport. You'll need it on test day.

Step 2
Pick your test date
Log in, choose "Outside the U.S.," and select a SmartX test center. Add the optional Science or Writing section if needed.

Step 3
Pay and confirm
Pay by Visa or Mastercard and upload a recent photo. Check your email for confirmation, then access your Admission Ticket in MyACT 2 to 3 days before test day.

Scored 1 to 36
Each core section is scored from 1 to 36, and the composite is their average. The optional Writing section is scored separately from 2 to 12 and does not affect the composite.
Because students can take the ACT more than once and submit their highest results, a strong second attempt can open new opportunities.
